PARENTING SKILLS

To rear healthful, productive, and law-abiding children, their prospective parents need to have had instructions on being good parents. What seems to be needed is a required high school Civics I and Civics II courses in 11th and 12th grades. These courses need to teach the U. S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Workings of our Republic & Capitalism, all aspects of Family Finance, Dangers of Communism, & Parenting Guidelines. Elements of the latter, to be employed for children, are as suggested below:

1) Praise efforts 2) Encourage resilience 3) Model lifelong learning

4) Teach emotions control 5) Practice empathy & listening 6) Teach conflict mgmt.

7) Read together 8) Discuss ideas 9) Support interests

10) Live your values 11) Be kind 12) Practice integrity

13) Find meaning 14) Assign daily duties 15) Solve problems

16) Celebrate perseverance 17) Reward self-discipline 18) Help with peer choices

19) Employ diversity 20) Stay positive 21) Seek the good

22) For older children, teach entrepreneurship

Over a period of years, the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) has infiltrated our education system with communist agents of influence who will object to the above instructions. CCP's goal is to indoctrinate our youth to help convert the U, S. to communism. Thus, they would conquer us, for the PRC (China), without ever firing a single shot! At present, the CCP does seem to be achieving this goal as proven by acceptance of socialist ideas by our youth.
