ABOUT US

David A. Nuttle, NPl's founder & President, has a B.S. degree in Agriculture, advanced training in tropical, urban, desert, and greenhouse farming, and is a published author and inventor. He helped to settle refugees and create an extension program for agriculture in Southern Vietnam as a model for the Peace Corps in 1960- 61. He then remained in Vietnam to help start and direct a Village Defense Program to protect villagers from attacks by armed communist terrorists. Nuttle received training in counterterror and counterinsurgency methods prior to this effort.
These efforts are detailed in two books: 1) "The Fortunate Few," by T. J. Sagnier; and 2) "Vietnam's High Ground," by J.P. Harris. After this time, Nuttle wrote and published technical manuals and invented self-help technologies to support Peace Corps volunteers and was a counterterrorism advisor to POTUS JFK and POTUS Nixon before starting NPI in 1995.

NPI has several university & other Ph.D. level technical advisors acting to help direct and support NPl's projects. They are not named in any public forum since NPl's work in support of some foreign counterterrorism efforts have made NPl's personnel targets of terrorists. This threat is well confirmed and a valid reason for this policy.
NPl's Current Focus and Priorities:
-
Survival and safety training & coaching for NGO and Peace Corps volunteers working overseas in hazardous areas. NPl's training manual for this effort is titled, "The Universal Survival Handbook."
-
Technical instructions for farmers seeking to improve crop yields and enhance food security for themselves and others who are food insecure. NPl's training material for this effort is primarily the" Healthy Foods Handbook." For details on use of biochar to achieve soil fertility, see the U.S. Biochar Institutes' Biochar Learning Center website.
-
Innovative, self-sustaining, organic work-study greenhouse for teaching advanced agriculture and greenhouse technologies to students, farmers, and others living in hungry/food insecure communities. This greenhouse is shown in NPl's YouTube video _
-
Advanced and innovative Counter-desertification technologies to assist desert farmers grow crops on desert lands where several million people are known to be living on the brink-of-starvation due to the lack of adequate crop production. Such technologies are shown in a NPl's YouTube video (https://youtu.be/UelG5ALal5k).
-
Unique Counter-terrorism methods and devices for use by charities believed to be future targets of foreign terrorists. NPl's "Counterterrorism Handbook" is classified and only provided directly to certain charities and U.S. law enforcement.
-
Civic Action training and coaching for friendly foreign law enforcement and military units seeking to gain rapport and cooperation with populations they are trying to protect from armed attacks by terrorists or other hostile groups.
