Fear of immediate or future events can cause problems with daily functioning or create a fight-or-flight reaction. In the event you have any type of fear, or believe you may have some type of fear, the following means are proven to help overcome all fear:
a) Lifestyle changes.
b) Psychological conditioning.
c) Therapy and medication.
d) Practiced confrontation of fear event.
e) Building resilience measures.
f) Identify and confront the fear.
g) Use CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy)
h) Controlled exposure to fear event.
i) Self-talk & relaxation techniques.
j) Visualization of the possible threat(s).
k) Exercise and good food.
l) Sleep.
m) Eye movement desensitization.
n) Building a support network.
0) Psychodynamic therapy.
I have witnessed the hardships of people suffering from unusual fears. In addition, I have been active on battlefields with intense sustained armed combat and witnessed soldiers who
had extreme fears of battle and they became dysfunctional as well as putting themselves at much greater risk.
Know what you fear and take appropriate action(s) to eliminate that fear for your own well- being and support of family, friends, and associates.
