At times the USG (U. S. Government) has acted intentionally or unintentionally to create distrust of our own government. A few well documented examples follow:

1) During World War II, POTUS Truman promised Ho Chi Minh & his Viet forces that the U. S.

would not help the French re-colonize Vietnam if Viet forces would help to defeat Japanese troops occupying Vietnam. The U. S. provided an OSS training team of U. S. Army Officers, & weapons to assist the Viets in accomplishing this goal. After Japan's defeat, France said they would go bankrupt unless the U. S. helped France re-colonize Vietnam. POTUS Truman thus agreed to do so and betrayed Ho Chi Minh, the leader of Vietnam. This betrayal made the U. S. an enemy of the Viets and "pushed" Ho into the "communist camp."

2) POTUS JFK approved an invasion of Cuba to replace the communist Dictator, Castro. He had the CIA recruit, train, and arm Cuban refugees to conduct the invasion with a landing at Cuba's "Bay-of-Pigs." JFK had promised these Cubans that U. S. air & naval support would be provided to protect them until they had gained a "foothold" on Cuban soil. At the time of

Cuban liberation forces' landing on the bay's beeches, JFK panicked and cancelled promised

air and naval assistance just as such support was critical. Invasion forces were quickly killed or captured by the Cuban Army's forces defending against this invasion. POTUS JFK was only successful in increasing Castro's anger and making enemies of most Cuban refugees.

3) During Iraq's war with Iran, the U. S. reportedly provided Saddam Hussein, Iraq's then President, and his forces with funds, credits, weapons, training, and materials for making chemical & biological weapons for use against Iran. The U. S. motivation for doing so was to deter Iran's support for terrorist groups and efforts to take control of the Middle East. POTUS GWB later stated that Saddam had such weapons of mass destruction although some of his military officers had demanded that Saddam not proceed with making such weapons. Near the end of Iraq's was with Iran, there were reports that Saddam had made a prototype chemical weapon, Saddam wanted to drop one of these weapons on an Iraqi Kurd village for a test. There were reports of Iraqi Air Force officers refusing to drop this chemical weapon, with a few escaping Iraq for fear of execution for failing to obey an order. GWB seems to have used such events, if true, to validate his claim that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction as justification for the U. S. war against Iraq.

4) The U. S. Army's regular forces first sent to Vietnam had been given no jungle warfare training prior to deployment. Losses among these military units were very high due to not having the skills needed to fight in the jungle. After being confronted with such tragic losses. our Army re-opened and started training at its old-World War II "Jungle Warfare Canter," in Panama. Out troops had trusted that they would be given the training needed for combat prior to deployment, and that had not happened. POTUS LBJ had demanded immediate use of our untrained military forces to achieve the quick victory JBJ wanted in Vietnam, for the desired political gains he was hoping for. The time of said LBJ decision, the S. Vietnamese people (Viets & Montagnards) were defeating communist forces supported by training, arms, and coaching from U. S. Special Forces via JFK's Village Defense Program. LBJ ended this effort in favor of the quick victory he directed the U. S. Army to achieve. A failed choice by an "armchair General."

5) I helped to start and direct S. Vietnam's Village Defense Project using U. S. Army Special Forces and USAF Air Commando's before POTUS LBJ ordered the above policy changes that "snatched defeat from the jaws-of-victory. The USASFs & USAF ACs were sent to me with no jungle survival of jungle warfare training, and I was certain several might be killed simply because they lacked this training. I had made friends with Chi, the Viet who directed Ho's jungle warfare efforts against Japanese occupation forces. Chi gave me training & detailed instructions on a jungle survival and jungle warfare instructions program for these American newcomers to S. Vietnam. I witnessed the fact that this training saved American lives. If I had ignored our government's failure there would have been one more reason to distrust the USG.

5) Our government, the USG, has reportedly awarded more than $200,000 in grant funds (tax dollars) to a charity known as "Teaching for Change." This organization is said to be a radical 501(c)(3) charity believed to promote radical social changes for the U. S. It seems they want changes in the form of socialism to be imposed. It is reported this charity is now teaching our youth to think in terms of being "global citizens," not just citizens of the U. S. If this information is correct, and it does need to be confirmed, our own government is helping to fund its own destruction using public funds.

I have worked in 42 developing nations, as well as the U. S., and have yet to find any one government I could fully trust. The only thing I can confirm is that communist governments, dictatorships, theocracies, and radical socialist governments are far far worse than our own.
