The Taliban terrorists were able to gain control of Afghanistan primarily due to the support received from Pakistan where they could rest, recover, enlist new recruits and obtain needed weapons, ammunition, as well as critical supplies. No action was taken by the U. S. to end this support. Another factor in the Taliban's favor was the fact that males in U. S.' supported Afghan Army had little to seemingly suffer if the Taliban took control. Thus, this army had little motivation to fight and kill the Taliban.

Since the Taliban gained control of Afghanistan, they have demonstrated their corruption & total inefficiency while creating extremely harsh living conditions for their female population. A pattern of violence, reprisal, armed conflicts, and false policies have been prevalent. They claim to have halted opium production but they have allowed Afghan opium farmers to grow and sell 80 percent of the global opium crop so it may be taxed. The Taliban say they will act to fully protect their Muslim brothers and sisters. Yet, they have not even objected to PRC's (China's) genocide (mass murder) of the Chinese Muslim Uyghur population.

There is little international recognition of support for the Taliban government that has been non-inclusive of its diverse population. No safety nets exist and if major food shortages occur

the populations groups most impacted are allowed to starve. The $83 billion in very modern military equipment, gifted to them by POTUS Joe Biden, has been partly sold to others including terrorist groups, to raise urgently needed cash. The balance of such equipment is allowed to deteriorate since the Taliban have no real means to maintain it over time. PRC entities are allowed to exploit Afghan mineral wealth with minimal return to the Taliban. Due lack of control over their own country, ISIS and other terrorist groups have established new basis in areas of their choice.

With women being limited to little education, not being allowed to work outside the home, and having actions as well as activities restricted, the Taliban have greatly reduced potential national economic development and GDP. The formula for a failed nation has been created by selfish acts of Taliban leaders. There is some evidence, the Taliban is planning to fully cooperate in helping the Islamic Wahhabi eliminate all non-Wahhabi from earth.

As I said in another blog, the U. S. incorrectly assumed they could create a functioning and effective democracy, in Afghanistan, with tribal groups typically ruled by a series of Afghan regional drug lords. The U. S. also believed Afghan males would fight to defeat the Taliban forces when they had little motivation to do so. In my opinion, the U. S. could have

probably defeated the Taliban forces with an all-female Afghan army trained by Kurd female Ranger Battalions from Iraq. The U. S. would have also engaged in diplomatic actions to end support, for the Taliban, by Pakistan.

The Taliban are now having armed conflicts with their former main source of support, Pakistan. They are doing severe damage to their population base by allowing many Afghan children to starve to death. It seems the Taliban have entered an era of self-destruction.

U. S. attemps at "nation buidling" have always seemed to fail. Not all peoples or nations seek to be a carbon copy of our nation.
