SOFT TARGET ISSUES

Many enemies of the U. S. seem to consider our nation as a very "soft target." Examples of why such a view may exist are; 1) Political assignment of two Generals having nothing more than conventional warfare experience, Gen, Wm. Westmoreland & Gen. Wm. Rosson, to win an unconventional/ jungle warfare conflict known as the Vietnam War (we lost); & 2) DHS use of political appointees, career bureaucrats & academics, w/ no counterterrorism training or operational experience, to develop programs for best defense against terrorist attacks. We have been "soft" when enemy perception of our being a "hard" target is needed. Perceived contribution to opinions of our being soft is also our U. S. Congress where many forever career politicians give priority to personal gain over national defense/ public welfare.
As a nation, the U. S. has a large number of soft targets; e. g. dry national forests as well as grasslands, rail lines, electric lines, farms, water reservoirs, remote power stations, dams, bridges, food processing plants, small industries, service industries, and so on. Some targets require planning and preparation, while other attacks can be ad hoc such as starting a fire in dry & remote national forests. Large scale attacks are also possible, i. e. a biological attack on food crops, a pandemic like COVID-19, or a nuclear HEMP (high-altitude electromagnetic pulse) weapon to destroy or grid. Some terrorist attacks may be sustained & harm multiple targets. A probable example is the over 200 suspicious midnight fires and explosions, over a period of a few months on U. S. farms. There is evidence said events were caused by CCP terrorist teams operating from small safe base farms covertly purchased in cash by CCP (Chinese Communist Party) agents using false IDs to help avoid detection. The CCP has a known & damaging pattern of acting to create horrific food shortages as a priority social chaos means.
POTUS Joe Biden's open border policy allowed most of our enemies to send terrorists/ terrorist teams into the U. S. Iran, Hamas, China, al-Queda, ISIS, ISIS-K, Russia, N. Korea, and Venezuela, as well as some other enemies having terrorists here. PRC's (China's) CCP Special Ops Teams, highly trained in social chaos operations and terrorist tactics, may be the
most qualified terrorists. They are instructed in means to avoid detection to include making an attack using covert or semi-covert means. A good example is the CCP team believed to have started the 2024 Smokehouse Creek fire in Texas. Evidence indicated this CCP team used a cable & 1 or 2 motorcycles to pull the pole on an electric line mostly down on a very remote rural road adjoining a pasture with dry grass. High wind and gravity are what the team believed would start a grass fire, and they departed so as not to be seen when the fire did start. This is what evidence indicates did happen, and resulted in fire that killed two people, burned nearly 1.2 million acres, while also burning over 500 structures, vehicles, farm machinery, feed, hay, fences, and over 10,000m head of livestock burned alive. This is the type of large-scale terrorist acts that CCP team's desire. If they did not start this fire, it will be used as a CCP model to help plan future attacks.
I have experienced terrorist attacks, worldwide, starting with communist Viet Cong attacks in Vietnam, with a recent attack by neo-Nazi terrorists in the U. S. My lessons from all these terrorist attacks are as follows:
1) Time and a great deal of effort will be used to plan, prepare, and rehearse attacks with each attack designed to help achieve an overall objective.
2) Planning will generally include target observation, taking of target photographs, seeking public records on a target, agents inside the target, and pre-attack access to the target to collect intel.
3) Assembly of an overwhelming attack force with ideal attack weapons and support items.
4) Extensive attack rehearsals with task assignments for each element of the attack.
5) A simulated attack to perfect attack plans.
The things that should be expected from the above-named terrorist groups:
a) Use of surveillance equipment such as cameras, drones, telescopes, listening devices, & special equipment.
b) Attack with military weapons, explosives, cutting tools and/or cutting torch, flood lights, arson items, stolen truck to crash gates. doors, and containers for small stolen items.
c) In addition to the above, they will have some means to incapacitate, kidnap, or kill target personnel; e. g. rope, duct tape, gags, handcuffs/ zip-ties, body bags, etc.
d) Attacks are generally designed to be quick, objective oriented, & conducted by surprise with an overwhelming armed force. Terrorists may be masked and wear body armor.
e) In the case of targeted individuals, attacks may occur at any time or place at any known physical location or random location.
Suggested terrorist attack defenses:
A) Key personnel should vary times, places, and means of travel.
B) All communication and mail should be secure to include cyber-security for computers.
C) Vetting is needed for all personnel and visitors.
D) Vital records need to be fully protected to include fire protection.
E) Standard physical security should include motion-activated alarms & lights plus cameras.
F) Extra protection typically includes heavy steel doors/ gates, bars on windows, and fire protection means.
G) Special protection is heavy duty locks, bollards to protect against forced truck entry, and a local, volunteer quick-reaction force w/ emergency contact methods.
N. B. Single armed guards are only of value for early warning and cannot defend against a far superior terrorist force armed with military-style automatic weapons.
The CCP's teams and agents recruit, train, and manage local citizens to start & sustain social chaos. Examples of such chaos conflicts are our current political & racial conflicts, infanticide, men in women's sports, LGBTQ/ Trans promotion, demands for DEI, CRT, & "woke" policies, free speech conflicts, protections for illegal immigrants, rights for criminals, cashless bail, voting rights, weaponization of government, rioter rights, and so on. The CCP has long infiltrated our universities, government agencies, and defense industries with its controlled agents. We have over 250,000 Chinese students in our universities, with many being trained in creating social chaos by the CCP. Wealthy enemies of the U. S., such as George Soros, are helping to fund some of the chaos. As of now, the U. S. has no effective means of countering this means of attack. Unless several diverse corrective actions are taken, the U. S. may be on a course of national suicide. We have allowed a "Trojan Horse" to enter our nation with all our enemies inside.
Agitation and incitement, using hate speech on social media and direct means, is often employed by CCP terrorists and other terrorist groups to motivate lone-wolf attacks such as the political assassination of Charlie Kirk. Such action also encourages mass rioting; e. g. college student riots against Israel and support for the horrific terrorist group Hamas. The CCP instructs all Special Ops team members in impromptu incitement. This technique has worked best in developing nations. During a revolt in the Congo, a tribe supporting takeover by communists had a CCP advisor. This tribe invaded the U. S. Embassy Compound after it had been evacuated due to street fighting. The compound also had a Commissary with food supplies the tribe also raided. Their CCP advisor found boxes of Aunt Jemmima Buckwheat Pancake mix. Knowing tribal members were angry over the loss of several tribal members who could not be accounted for, this advisor opened one such box. He poured the brown flour into the palm of his hand and called to the tribal chief, and telling him "... here are your missing tribal members." The tribe became so angry they searched for, found, and killed three white missionaries to cook for a tribal supper. We must not long ignore capabilities of CCP's terrorists and other terrorists here in the U. S.
