PLAGUE OF MADNESS

More research is needed on why humanity's often horrific dictators are willing to cause great harm their fellow man to gain & retain power; e. g. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and others. It is often said that power corrupts, and absolute power can create madness. The workings of the human mind are formulated by overlapping cultural, environmental, social, conditional, psychological, and biological factors. Parents, teachers, coaches, and influential adults do have significant inputs in attitudes and thinking. If youth are in a controlled environment, an indoctrination process may totally corrupt their thinking.

An example of such mental control is the Islamic Wahhabi jihadists who created orphanages, in Africa, to make orphans suffering the loss of parents from the HIV/ Aids epidemic. These youth were indoctrinated & trained to become jihadists to eliminate all non-Wahhabi from earth to facilitate return to earth of the Wahhabi's 12th Imam, the Mahdi, to rule over all nations. The current world leaders who appear to have some form of real madness are as follows:

1) Vladimir Putin, of Russia, is promoting and sustaining armed conflict at great economic as

well as human cost to create a much greater Russia to include the current war on Ukraine.

2) Xi Jinping, of the PRC (China), engages in horrific acts to control PRC's population; e. g. a genocide campaign against the Muslim Chinese Uyghur population. Military preparation to gain control of Taiwan (Nationalist China) is being undertaken. Moreover, their directed CCP (Chinese Communist Party) has long engaged in actions to harm the U. S.

3) Kim Jong Un, of North Korea, has created horrific population controls over his own people and preparing war, possibly a nuclear war, against South Korea and the U. S. believing such action may be needed to remain in power.

4) Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, of Iran, seeks to destroy Israel & the U. S. and is now developing nuclear weapons to help do so to remain in power and expand Iran's influence. In addition, he has recruited and long armed proxy terrorist groups, Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, and the Islamic Jihad to conduct horrific terrorist operations to support his goal(s).

5) Nicolas Maduro, of Venezuela, has converted his nation to communism & destroyed the economy and freedoms of that nation in the process. He seeks to expand his influence in all of Latin America and cause harm to the U. S.

6) Hibatullah Akhundzada, of Afghanistan, is focused on increasing the power and control of that nation using the Taliban terrorists. To demonstrate his power, Afghan women are not allowed to be educated, work or seek careers, be in public without a male family escort, have a complete body covering, not be allowed to drive, and prohibited from talking with other Afghan women in public. He has been celebrating the Taliban victory over the U. S. with displays of the $83 billion in assorted modern military equipment abandoned to the Afghan Taliban by POTUS Joe Biden.

The above examples of men clearly afflicted with some form of power madness does not provide an all-inclusive list. There are other men, and perhaps a woman, in the initial stage of such power madness. Our study of this syndrome needs to start first with a study of those we know who have this affliction. Human madness is a historical problem. The Greek Goddess of Madness was known as "Lyssa."

In order to end the "parade" of such power hungry and horrific leaders of nations, we need to know how and why such men come to rule over diverse nations. We also need to know more about how our youth are being manipulated to riot in support of the terrorist group Hamas as well as promoting destruction of Israel while demanding favors for Palestinians. It would also be helpful to know the thinking and mental functions of terrorist leaders of the CCP and other terrorist organization. The basic rule of conflict success is to know your friends and hold them close, while knowing more about your enemy and holding them even closer. Knowing our enemy is the first step to better foreign policy decisions!!

Rulers afflicted with madness tend to cause horrific harm to populations they control, kill their opposition in large numbers if they desire, and initiate armed conflict(s). Excuses for such conflict include needs for national or ideological expansion, and/or issues related to power, land, water, food, feed, territory, women (or a woman), conquest, or forcing others to conform as they direct. Many of these men have proven to be great military tacticians; e. g. Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great, and Napoleon Bonaparte. There are a few individuals having madness and using power/ wealth to seek destruction of a selected enemy. A good example is George Soros who has used his wealth to cause significant harm to the U. S. To help defend against the madness, we need to have a better understanding of why and how such an affliction occurs to develop appropriate defenses.
