PARENT RESPONSIBILITY

Most parents in the U. S. are under the pressure of time and need to earn a living for their families. These factors have caused many parents to assume that schools and elements of government will keep their children on "the right path." With the many corrupting influences, schools and government lack the needed resources to monitor and direct actions by all of the U. S. youth population.
Individual states are now seeking to correct the above problem by legally charging parents with neglect and sending them to prison once they are convicted of neglect in a court of law.
Two recent parent neglect cases are:
1) Jennifer and James Crumbly each received a 10 to 15-year prison sentence upon being convicted of neglect of their son, Ethan, who killed four and wounded seven at Oxford High School in Michigan, in 2024. James had failed to secure his gun, and it was obtained by Ethan for said killings. Bothe parents were charged with a failure to observe and take action to correct illegal drug and mental health issues that Ethan was proven to have.
2) Also in 2024, Colin Gray a single parent received a neglect conviction & prison sentence similar to the above for giving his mentally stressed 14-year-old son an AR-15 rifle. His son, name withheld because of his age, used this rifle to kill four students and wound nine at Apalachee High School near Atlanta.
The above legal actions, by Michigan and Georgia, may be the start of a growing trend to hold parents accountable for harm(s) caused by their children due to their neglect. It seems this the only immediate solution we may have to help curb youth violence.
Another part of youth violence problems, difficult for most parents to counter, is increasing gang violence and hate speech. Our government may have contributed to the gang problem by not acting effectively to stop the riots of BLM and ANTIFA. Hate speech on social media is a contributing factor to youth violence. False narratives fuel hate speech. The posted false outrage and hostility drive engagement. Similar dialogue if fostered. To protect free speech, all this hate is allowed on social media. The solution may be legal action to charge posters of any fabricated and false hate, causing death to others, with wrongful death charges. Upon their being convicted of same in a court of law, lengthy prison sentences should be imposed.
The CCP (Chinese Communist Party) trains Chinese youth coming to U. S. universities to study to act as agents-of-influence to promote hatred of the present and a desire for change to socialism. Our youth our encouraged to riot in support of same while also acting to make unusual demands such as endorsing the actions of the horrific terrorist group Hamas. Our wealthy enemy, George Soros, is known to be funding such rioting.
On a global basis, most nations are not growing their economies fast enough to provide truly meaningful employment for all their youth. To some degree, this problem also exists in the U. S. Unemployed and underemployed youth become disaffected and demand change while being vulnerable to recruitment by gangs, criminals, protest groups, terrorists, narco-terrorists, jihadists, insurgents, and other hostile groups.
