Cobra snakes hunt at night in their typical jungle homes and they like to snuggle when jungles cool at night. In this situation a person cannot rest or sleep on the jungle floor. A

cobra snake makes a deadly sleeping partner.

A biting leech must be removed by gently moving it to one side. Any harsh treatment will cause any leech to "barf" into your bite wound causing an infection.

If you track a tiger, know this animal is powerful and super intelligent. Once they sense being tracked, they will double-back on their own track and wait in a good ambush position. For this reason, many tiger hunters become "lunch meat."

Taking a daily B-12 vitamin will typically prevent mosquito and bed bug bites.

Few American MDs know how to treat tropical diseases. My life was saved twice by finding a good soccer with extensive knowledge of tropical diseases and their effective treatment. I thus learned that a little Neem, from a tropical Neem tree, will cure amebic dysentery.

Most jungles have many snakes, plants, insects, and wildlife that can kill. Awareness of each threat is always a problem. A deadly green Krait snake has a green color that is only very little different than greens in the jungle.

Jungles are not silent there are loud insect noises at times and other noises like the bark of a leopard to get potential prey to run and disclose their location in the jungle.

Deserts are not devoid of life. There are reptiles, insects, wildlife, and plants that may be useful or pose unusual treats. All this life has adapted to live with intense heat, sand, and very little water seldom available.

The equivalent of money does grow on trees. I traveled for a few days with a group of Somali myrrh tappers who were tapping Myrrh trees for myrrh resin in an ancient Myrrh plantation in a Kenyan desert along the border with Somalia. Since Biblical times, myrrh resin has always sold for about the same price as gold. By the time these myrrh tappers reached a trading post with four big bags of myrrh resin loaded on their camels they sold this treasured resin for about US$45,000. N. B. Myrrh resin has multiple uses to include making medicinal items, perfumes, insect repellant, and several other valued products.

At times, aggressive animals may be more curious than aggressive. I was traveling by jeep on a jungle logging road returning from a midnight hunting trip in S. Vietnam. I stopped to take a pee standing near a tree on that moonlight night. For several minutes I did not notice I was standing within 15 to 20 feet of a wild cattle species, a Banteng bull, over 2,800 pounds with massive horns. Banteng are so aggressive that even elephants run away from them. This bull could have easily killed me, but he was only curious.

In Vietnam we purchased canned dog food from the U. S. Embassy Commissary. The cans each had a picture of a dog. The Viets eat dogs, so our Vietnamese cook assumed we had purchased dog meat, based on seeing the dog picture, and made sandwiches, for our lunch,

from this dog food.

Our Vietnamese cook wanted to make a few Python steaks for us and wanted the Python snake to be live when starting to cut the steaks. He asked us to capture a Python on one of our midnight hunting trips and leave it our kitchen being sure to shut and lock the entry door. We were able to do so and left a 22 ft. Python in our kitchen late one night. Early the next morning we heard screams coming from the kitchen. Our cook had a fight with his wife and brought a cot to sleep in our kitchen. The Python was wrapped around his cot & our cook to put a tight squeeze on him. We had to rescue our cook.

Wilfred Burchett, an Australian journalist had an early assignment to do a story on the U. S. atomic bombing of Hiroshima, in Japan, shortly after the bombing. The horrors he witnessed caused him to be a life-long enemy of the U. S. Wilfred used his journalistic skills to assist the leaders of communist nations, enemies of the U. S., with their propaganda efforts. During the Korean War, he was in N. Korea fabricating media articles about his false claim that the U. S. was conducting germ warfare against the North Koreans. During the Vietnam War, he was photographed in Hanoi with the communist leader Ho Chi Minh and writing articles about fabricated war crimes by Americans in S. Vietnam. I was then working in S. Vietnam to help create a model Village Defense Program to deter communist Viet Cong horrific terrorist attacks on villages there. Wilfred made me a target of another of his fabrications to assist the communist propaganda efforts. He big lie was that I was dressed a French Priest travelling all over S. Vietnam to assassinate communist cadre in villages. To help make this fabrication real, the Viet Cong printed "Wanted Dead or Alive" posters, w/ my name and photo, all over S. Vietnam. In the following weeks, I survived seven assassination attempts only because I had survival guidance from the Holy Spirit.

In Vietnam, the French colonial government had constructed a good network of paved one-lane highways. These highways facilitated travel but in jungle areas the was jungle growth over the edges of highways and wildlife would often "pop out" in front of an approaching vehicle. I had a BMW motorcycle w/ a silenced muffler to help avoid this real wildlife hazard. With good highways, I would travel at 65-70 mph to drive through any Viet Cong ambush before they could open fire. On a trip to a Montagnard village I was working with, a wild boar over 400 lbs. ran in front of my cycle coming out of the jungle a second before I saw him. I hit the boar at full speed and was catapulted like being shot out of a cannon. The road was very straight at this point, so I was flying over open space above the highway. My guidance from the Holy Spirit was to shape my body like a ball and prepare to roll. I came down gradually and must have rolled 25 times before I stopped. When a stood up I felt like a "bowl-of jelly" but was not otherwise hurt. The wild boar had been killed by my hit, and I gave him to six local Montagnards walking down the highway. My cycle was still in good operating condition, so I proceeded on my journey.

A GVN (Govt. of Vietnam) official inspection team scheduled an evaluation of several Ag & community development projects I completed for several Rhade (Ede) Montagnard villages in Darlak Province, S. Vietnam. The Holy Spirit and a Montagnard friend advised me have the inspection delayed due to a probable Viet Cong ambush. I also knew the GVN had very poor counterintelligence while communist forces had good intelligence and generally had details on whatever the GVN had planned. Despite my warning, the Province Chief said he would increase the number of guards and proceed with the GVN planned inspection. Thus, I pleaded again with the GVN Province Chief to delay the planned inspection and gave a good reason I could not participate on the scheduled day, He discounted my warning about a possible ambush and proceeded w/ the inspection as planned. The inspection team and guards, 44 men total, were hit with a Viet Cong "spider-hole" ambush killing 43 of the 44 men. The only one survivor was a Montagnard friend who had served with French Foreign Legion during the French colonization of Vietnam. N. B. The above event is well documented in a book entitled "Vietnam's High Ground," by J. P. Harris (a distinguished historian).

I helped start counterterrorism operations in Africa, Asia, Latin America, & the Middle East. But I never anticipated being attacked by terrorists in the U. S. This attack came from a group of neo-Nazis sheltered in a 400-acre fortified residential compound, known as Elohim City in Adair County, Oklahoma. This compound was also the home of the Ayren Army and their families. The neo-Nazis have a priority goal of removing all non-whites from the U. S. My charity, NPI, was training Hmong & Montagnard political refugees from Laos & Vietnam. These refugees wanted to start farming in the U. S. and NPI was training them to do so on NPI's 50-acre training farm about 47 miles from Elohim City. The neo-Nazis were demanding that NPI force these refugees to return to their home nations. We ignored this neo-Nazi demand so they started making arson attacks on the small farms we had helped the Hmong to start in NE Oklahoma and NW Arkansas.

We helped the Montagnard start farming in North Carolina and the neo-Nazis there started attacks on the Montagnard refugees. These attacks were stopped by U. S. Army Special Forces A-Teams having received prior help from the Montagnard during the Vietnam War. In retaliation, the neo-Nazis from Elohim City began monitoring NPI's training activities to attack in force when NPI's staff and trainees were not present. A local law enforcement evaluated neo-Nazis had come with a portable torch to cut locks, chains, and/or hinges to gain entry. A Sheriff's Deputy believed terrorists were 12 to 15 in numbers, probably all armed, with 7 or 8 trucks to remove NPI's tools, shop and farm equipment, Ag training models, office equipment, and records. It was believed that all items stolen by subject neo- Nazis went to Elohim City that had been decaled off-limits by local law enforcement & FBI.

The problem was it was certain neo-Nazis would fight to prevent entry to Elohim City and children there would probably be in crossfire. At that time, the FBI was seeking to regain a favorable public opinion after the FBI had killed 28 children on its raid on Branch Davidian Compound, in Texas.
