NATION SUICIDE TRENDS

Nations with open borders, such as the U. S. open borders policy by POTUS Biden and a few EU nations, have resulted in "floods" of illegal immigrants w/ limited education and few skills. Some were criminals, terrorists, or handicapped/reject persons in their home nations. All came for what they believe will be handouts as well as an opportunity to sustain their own customs, culture, and language. Most seek to avoid integration into their new/host societies.
An example of such integration resistance is found with the clustered 80,000 impoverished Somali refugees POTUS Obama helped to bring to the U. S. Many of these Somali retain jihadist beliefs shown by their sending funds to the jihadist al-Shabaab terrorist group in Somalia. By recent estimate, the illegal migrants coming to the U. S., during the Biden era, numbered about 14 million or more, all w/ unknown backgrounds. They are now causing social chaos, killing of several Americans, and cultural deterioration in the U. S. with known coaching/ support from CCP (Chinese) terrorist teams now here.
With a current global population of over eight billion not less than two billion are living in extreme poverty with many being socially, economically, and politically isolated from the nations where they reside. Developing nations where they call home often lack sufficient production of food crops to provide adequate nutrition for many of these people. Moreover, these nations cannot grow their economies fast enough to provide meaningful employment for many youths in their nations. Such youth often become frustrated and angry due to a lack of opportunities and become vulnerable to recruitment by criminal gangs, narco-terrorists, terrorists, jihadists, and/or insurgents. Global insecurity is the result. The U. N., World Bank, and USAID all estimated about 1.5 billion of these poor people would come to the U. S. or EU if they could find a means to do so. Developing nations with angry populations and no efficient/viable means to end the anger are nations in some stage of suicide by election of radical political solutions such as communism. Historically, communist governments have only been good at three things: 1) Destruction of economies; 2) Increased population real suffering; and 3) Killing their own populations using democide (genocide/mass murder).
For many years, the U. S. has allowed the PRC (China) and its CCP (Chinese Communist Party) to infiltrate our universities, government agencies, and strategic entities. In addition, we host thousands of Chinese students at our universities (277,000 plus in 2024) with many being trained by CCP in social chaos promotion & collection of IP (intellectual property). We have witnessed PRC's use of our new technologies, and we are witnessing social chaos by university students rioting in support of the horrific terrorist group Hamas. Enemies of our nation, such as George Soros, may have helped fund such riots. We have allowed PRC to buy U. S. farmlands near some of our military bases and ignored the fact that CCP agents are covertly buying small farms, using false/ Latin names, for CCP terrorist teams to use as safe bases. At such secret locations they are planning and preparing pending terrorist attacks. Other threats in the U. S. include that created by POTUS Obama who helped place members of the Muslim Brotherhood, mostly jihadists, in most of our federal agencies. Communist Dem politicians have gained the support of Americans, in large numbers, by promising free everything with no indication of how they will pay for what they have promised. The making of believable false promises is one more thing most of the advocates of communism are good at.
Nations such as Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea are using force of arms, or now preparing for armed conflicts, to accomplish expansion goals or elimination of other nations to help achieve more power/ influence and achieve horrific ends having no valid justification. Such nations may well be unwittingly on a "path" to eventual suicide. Since these nations have a general disregard for human life, they are having no distracting concerns about being on such a destructive course that might result in global nuclear conflict ending life as we know it. Venezuela has selected communism and is experiencing a destruction of its own economy as is typical of communist states. The Taliban, in Afghanistan, do not allow active participation of women in all aspects of their society and that may prove to be an act of eventual suicide. Mankind, in general, is not learning from history and is often repeating adverse history. Power is corrupting and absolute power typically brings madness.
In the U. S. we have BLM and Antifa rioters, student rioters on several college campuses promoting terrorist groups such as Hamas, plus radical & communist Dems seeking power as well as about half our citizens making totally unrealistic demands. In addition, we have city and state safe havens for illegal migrants to include the handicapped, criminals, & terrorists among them. For our POTUS and government authorities to gain stability and safety from an abundance of chaos, we need legislation to upgrade our Insurrection Act of 1807. This act gives our POTUS some authority to use U. S. military forces and federalized state Natl. Guard units to end disorder, insurrection, and rebellion. This act now circumvents the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act precluding use of our military forces in the U. S. There are gaps in said 1807 Insurrection Act that need to be closed. We require added legal means to more effectively deal with criminal and terrorist acts by illegal migrants as well as the illegal drug, weapons, & human trafficking by Mexican cartels.
Given all the above global instability there are many corrective actions needed. The U. S. has not always been effective in helping to solve critical problems. As an example, USAID should have had a major focus on agricultural & food security development to stabilize the nations where prolonged hunger caused armed conflicts; e. g. the Darfur Region of Sudan where over 400,000 people were killed over this issue. USAID should have also provided entrepreneurship training and new business funding to help unemployed youth in many of
the developing nations with poor economies. Due to USAID's many failures to do so and its funding of "woke" programs, Trump terminated USAID (U. S. Agency for Intl. Development).
POTUS Trump should have simply forced USAID to return to support for priority efforts. As
I noted in my "Vietnam War Errors" blog, the U. S. has made many policy "blunders" since WW II. I hope we have at least learned that our "nation building" efforts have always failed. We have no real ability to make any other nation into a little U. S. in its best form.
