Crime rates in the U. S. are known to be consistently high for the following reason all well
documented:
a) Easy access to guns and negative gang influence.
b) Slums, poverty, and lack of economic opportunity.
c) Urgent need for money to buy illegal drugs for addicts.
d) Distrust of government and law enforcement.
e) Lack of community social cohesion.
f) DAs who are forgiving of criminals and crimes for quick release.
g) Acceptance of criminal behavior by young minority males.
h) Deficient youth programs and poor social services.
i) Failing educational systems and no citizenship instruction.
j) Lack of entrepreneurship training and no new venture funds.
k) Defective political process.
To reduce crime, corrective action is required in all the above areas and new technology is needed to make guns that can only be fired by registered gun owners.
